Say g'day to the Honey Mid Length Softboard, built in our unique SoftHARD construction. In our view this really is the best of both worlds for those looking to safely progress their surfing - the strength, performance and longevity of an epoxy fiberglass surfboard wrapped in the safe, forgiving and fun nature of a foam board.

SHAPE
This design was specifically made for surfers who are looking to progress their level of surfing. This is a shape that's forgiving and easy to learn on while still being refined enough to advance on and surf at high levels. What conditions is it best suited to? It's ideal for everyday small to medium conditions, however the design holds it's own surprisingly well in big surf.

CONSTRUCTION
While she may be soft in appearance, beneath the surface this beauty is actually a complete epoxy fiberglass surfboard that is then laminated top and bottom with sturdy, high density foam (HD-PE bottom, EVA deck and rails). This combination means you have an extremely tough board, especially with the additional stringer and wood sandwich we've added inside the fiberglass lamination.

WHAT SIZE ARE YOU?
Beginner level: We recommend the 8'0" size for surfers between 55-95kg. 7ft works great for kids and adults 30-55kg. 

Intermediate to advanced level: Surfers 55-95kg may prefer the 7'0" model for surf that has plenty of energy and size, however 8'0" is a dream if you're just looking to cruise on the small days. Surfers under 55kg the 7'0" is generally the go to size.

Honey Surf

Honey Surf was one of Australia's first iconic surf labels. Founded in 1972 when two brothers began making beeswax based surfboard wax in an old dairy shed out the back of Gerringong, on the south coast of NSW. They went onto sell over 2M bars of wax during the 70's and sponsor the current world champion Nat Young.

Now, almost 50 years later, two young brothers from the same family are bringing the Honey Surf label back to life. Still the original, still based in Gerringong.
